About Patty

I was born and raised in Venezuela, but in 2001, I moved to Miami, FL, where I’ve been happily settled with my family for the past 23 years. My professional journey began in graphic design, a field I dedicated myself to for many years. However, my true passion has always been the arts—whether it’s painting, creating, or singing, I’ve always had a deep love for artistic expression.

My path into makeup artistry was an unexpected one. A close friend of mine organized a self-makeup class with a renowned Miss Venezuela makeup artist, and I signed up without hesitation. I learned a ton, and when the instructor saw my skills, he suggested I should consider a career in makeup. I laughed it off at the time, but the idea stuck with me.

After moving to Miami, I began to dabble in makeup, experimenting with products and practicing on friends and family. I still remember my first paid gig—it was thanks to my manicurist, who took me along to do makeup for the groom’s mother and her family. They loved it, and to my surprise, even paid me! Shortly after, I returned to Venezuela to take professional classes with the same makeup artist who had first inspired me. He not only taught me the technical skills but also helped me believe in my talent—a gift that continues to drive me today.

For years, makeup remained a lucrative side hobby while I continued my career in graphic design. I even became the Marketing Director for a well-known makeup brand, where I designed campaigns, created displays, and contributed to product development—some of which has gone viral on social media!

Eventually, I got married and became a mom, which led me to step away from my corporate role and focus on motherhood. When my daughter turned two, I decided it was time to return to work, but this time, on my own terms. What started as a side passion has now blossomed into my primary career, and for the past 15 years, I’ve dedicated myself to this beautiful art full-time. According to my husband, I’ve probably worked on nearly 10,000 faces by now!

My true passion is working with brides. From the very beginning, I dreamed of being part of a bride’s special day, and no celebrity or model can compare to the joy I feel in helping a bride look radiant and unforgettable. It’s a profession filled with its challenges—from demanding clients to uncooperative planners and tricky work environments. But over time, experience has taught me to focus on my mission: making each bride shine on her big day.

Above all, I’ve learned that a great teacher doesn’t just share knowledge but inspires others with love. I strive to pass on that same inspiration to everyone I work with, just as my first mentor did for me.
